I think millers do a fully synth 10w40 so you should be ok, they do a semi also so up to you

i swear by the stuff mate, my old girls on a 95 plate and i allways run it on millers cfs10w/60, i wouldnt have it any other way never had any problems using their oils either. or you could use prolong, if anything i would rate millers and prolong as being the best of the best.

CFS is the top of the range Millers oil and it really is one of the best oils available. The XSS is a decent semi-synthetic. Personally, with a car like an Impreza, I'd go for the synthetic option. If you go for a 5w-40 there is the XFS that is a decent synthetic oil, but not ester based like the CFS, so it's a bit of a cheaper option, but better than a semi-synthetic.

Cheers

Tim
