prodrive bugeye immobiliser
Hi there,just got a ppp ecu ,key and transponder for my car today ,fitted it all to the car and the car turns over but will not fire up,which makes me think its the immobiliser,i have been told as i have the transponder i would not need the keys recoded and if it was the keys needing to be recoded the car would start and then cut out about 5 seconds later....not ,not fire up...Do you think its the immobiliser or the keys need recoding?rang up subaru and they want £80 to recode the keys,dont want to pay for that if its the immobiliser......
its a 2001 bugeye wrx....any help please....

Yes i put the new ecu and new transponder in and then used the new key,the key would not open or lock the car and then would not make the car run....
