My question is, as it says. A friend is upgrading his EVO i/c (with a PACE) and has offered to give me his standard one from his car.

My pockets don't run deep enough right now to purchase a nice new HKS/ PACE front mount, so is it worth my while putting this on the car?? I know a lot of the expense comes from the fitting - piping and removing bumper etc - and I will eventually upgrade to aforementioned dogs bo11ocks unit.

Is this worthwhile or a waste of time? Will I see any increase in performance? I assume I will as it is a front mount...

if you can get it mounted and fitted, go for it. getting the brakets made or modified and fitted to the scoob will be tricky i think.

that is aside. you will definitely get some improvments. the evo intercooler is good and much better than the standard scooby intercooler. so you should get some good bhp gains with it.

Sam,

Thanks for the reply! At least someone is reading

They (Motivation) will see what is needed to fit it to my car. I would like to ask them to do it so that I could replace it later in the year with a proper front mount i/c for a Scooby.
