I've been running a Blitz for about 9 months on a MY98 uk, and so far no problems at all, great sound and look good.
I just give it a wash under the tap every few weeks when I check the oil, even if it still looks clean.

The Blitz looks clean because it doesn't catch much in the way of dust, check further into the pipework especially the elbow just before the turbo (older cars) ... you may get a shock ... I did, a 2-3mm thick coating of gunge ... the Blitz is still in the garage ... I won't sell it cos it doesn't seem to filter.

Bob, What are you using now? I've currently go a K&N panel filter in but I've got a PiperX cone that was on the car when I got it (MY99 UK Turbo). Do you have an opinion on this filter?

I've been using HKS up to the time I had the FMIC put on, then I changed to the APS cold air kit (which is K & N based) as it is the easiest to use with the front mount. Otherwise would still be using HKS.
