One flipping week of salted roads and I open the bonnet to find corrosion starting!!!! GGGRRRRR!!!! Suppose its better than smashed panels from a hedge slide though!
Anyone use find any producs in particular help against this??
Will be getting the waxoil out this weekend me thinks.

 

a good wash should do the trick mate.....hav u had ur car undercoated?...the salt will be doin wonders under the car lol!!!....

 

tell me about this, only been 3 weeks and the road salt has peeled and corroded the polished lip on my alloys, gonna have to repaint them now, im gonna do them black so i have no hassle.........

 

GRRR and GRRR AGAIN!! Its just always comes down to elbow grease LOL!!!

 

Its corroded my black Kei wheelnuts, thats £40 down the drain ! Never mind, at least everything else seems ok.

 

have any of you guys tried cleaning your cars? just cleaning inside the arches took 4 bucket fulls

 

Indeed - I spend most of yesterday on my back in the ****s powerwashing the Diffs ETC - Oh the absolute rapture of it!!! but I am counting my blessings for no panels needing replacing apart from the wing that was already done by a 17 yr old girl with no awareness and an inability to use her mirrors whilst I was overtaking her! DOH!
