Thumbs up Dumpvalves

Does anyone have a turbosmart dumpvalve, the one that has a part so you can make it a re-circulating dumpvalve too??

I had to take the new XS power dumpvalve(which I did not buy) off because I was losing boost!!!

Any info or ideas would be great

Put the original one back on, the OE one: they are good up to 350bhp.

The best for your car? Why the recirculating type, of course, or why would Subaru/Prodrive continue to use them?

Yeah. I see your point but I like that swoosh sound! But it it means I lose power, then it's a no then. Thanks

OK, apologies if this has been answered dozens of times before, but is the Turbosmart recirc or atmos?

This has been done a trillion time before about the argument and safety - With a MAF then it is safest to run a recirc valve (check the other threads).
I happen to love the chavvy whiplash too and run a forge valve on my 95 scoob.
I found I lost boost with the standard valve as I believe it was worn out but the forge seems to clamp the boost nicely up to 1.1bar.
I do fret over the overfuelling issue but all seems OK so far and its been over 2 years that I have been running VTA valves.

Before anyone starts baiting - Im not gonna bite!
Recirc is what should be there with a MAF I know!! lol!
