why do you mean by uprated pullys? Adjustable or lighter/stronger pullys? Do you have different cylinder heads with higher profile cams? If not adjustable pullys are a waste of time and expense. lighter/stronger pullys help with the whole engine rotating mass thing.

I didn't actually realise there was adjustable pulleys, i was on about these:

Pulleys : Subaru Impreza Lightweight Pulley Kits

Also are the pulley bearings separate to the actual pulleys themself?

Thanks

A lightweight crank pulley is a nice upgrade to reduce the rotating mass, in the same way a lightweight flywheel does.

Take a look at these: AZTEC PERFORMANCE ONLINE STORE - WHOLESALE PRICES DIRECT TO THE PUBLIC - Lightweight Crank Pulleys

Thanks but i think if i do buy pulleys it will be a set, not just the crank pulley.

Am i right in think the pulleys use bearing? In the pictures i've looked at i can't see bearings, are they separate?

Anyone know where to get good cheap pulley sets?

Thanks

No they don't use bearings, they fit straight on to the shaft.

A lot of people are using these, including myself CDF Racing Lightweight pulleys , Adjustable cam pulleys , Timing pulleys , Custom pulleys . Cam gears , Subaru , Evo , Nissan ,toyota pulleys
