I have recently started to look in to getting an Impreza and was wondering if anyone can provide some advice on service and maintenance costs etc. It wont be used that often as it will be a 2nd car. Any advice on what to look out for on the bad points aswell will be greatfully appreciated.

Good service history is a start, depending on what year you’re looking at there other things to look out for. But on a whole the same principle applies for most cars, service history, the way it dives and sounds, if it’s been modified and how well its been done etc etc.

There is pricing on our site for servicing, this should be about ball park dependng on where you are in the country.

Hi mate thanks for the advice id be looking at one priced around 4k, so from looking on Piston Heads etc id be looking at around a 1997-1998 model for an STI. Im from south wales.
