Hey guys just a quick question. Making a JDM more highway friendly, could i just replace some gearbox internals or is a UK gearbox the only way to go?

u would spend the same money roughly either way mate so the geartbox change would be the easiest route , love the tag about the grandfather btw lol !

Its ratio'd to around 170mph, which is 3mph more than a UK classic turbo, whats wrong with that?

the uk gearbox sits at lower rpm when at 70 , not worth changing in my opinion as there isnt even 1000rpm between them at 70 so savings would be minimal changing the box in the first place
