Default ESL remap on 94 wagon

Car has done approx 65000 miles, full decat, panel filter(k&N),HDI boost controller,Walbro fuel pump and uprated plugs.
Would it be worth going the ESL route on a car of this age and mileage.
It is mechanically sound and I would also change from TD04 to TD05 as part of the remap.
any thoughts or guesses at power increases appreciated

Most definitely!

I wouldn't bother with the TD05H unless you intend to fit a FMIC at a later date and another remap, for more power. This is because the small OEM TMIC will limit you to about 280bhp, regardless of turbo fitted. So you may as well keep the TD04 and enjoy its mega quick spool up - just what you want on the road.

If however you intend to go FM and more power, etc. later, then by all means stick the TD05 in too.... but... I'd do that at the same time as the FMIC gets fitted, etc. After all, you may aswell benefit from the TD04's quicker spool in the meantime...

So, you'll go from 217 to c.280 - an increase of c.60bhp (and slightly less lb ft)!!! That's nearly 30% extra power. Good innit?

Worth doing yes.
Or fit a td05 and td05 turbo as interim and then injectors, fmic and esl when bored with power?
