Default Water for coolant

Does anyone know where you can buy distilled water? I'm changing the coolant in my 95 WRX and have coolant to go in, but have read you can't use tap water to dilute it, any info would be great.

Thanks

Ross

halfords don't have any I live in a softwater area, so think i'll just use tap water since distilled water is easy to say but a nightmare to find

Depends how much its lost. i would put water in untill ye find the leak, fix it then drain it and put proper coolant in. they dont hold any more than 5 litres.

Nothing wrong with tap water. In areas where there is a high lime or chalk content you can block the screen washer jets and so on but unless you are adding water to your car engine every day, which you should not, then tap water is perfectly OK.
