Default Loss of Power

I have a Classic 99 UK Turbo Impreza, Check engine light was on visited Subaru Dealer to diagnose fault nothing found, but recommended to change Lambda Sensor and Air Filter. Car loses boost when hot and turbo does not respond .Car is standard except for a WR Sport De Cat and Exhaust. Any ideas GwynforD.Thanks

WHen you say your turbo doesn't respond you mean it doesn't boost at all or it does to a degree?

If there is no boost at all then your turbo is knackered

simple

It does boost to a degree but not as responsive as it should be. Thanks
