Default inlet query!!!

hi just a question on inlets, i currently own a 97(P reg) turbo 2000.
Would a inlet from an sti same year fit this?

yes the inlet from same yeah would. i believe they changed after that.

Yes it will fit....The actual change which would affect the fitment would be the bolt pattern.. The earlier cars had the flange mounting bolts inline and the later cars were staggered.

cheers guy's, i no it's from a v3/v4,coil is situated in centre.

Yeah MY99 v.5 (from Sep 98) changed from in-line to staggered bolt pattern. Plus I think the MY99/00 one is a bit shorter across the engine - so the bolt holes wouldn't reach even if they were inline!
