subaru yellow injectors are phase 2 in relation to the fuel rails v1 and v2 have phase 1 fuel rails and need an adaptor kit to fit phase 2 injectors

yes mate the v2 injectors will fit but as (p555sbr) says u do need a kit, what it is is a sleeve that sits over the end of the injector that makes it fit into the v1 injector rail plus the v2 injectors sit a little higher than the v1 so you will have to put a few washers on the caps that hold the injectors in, they are about £30 ish i think

so they are 440cc apposed to 380cc? basicly i have a V2 wrx and need bigger injectors (aiming for anything over 320bhp) i saw these and thought it odd that they're advitised as V2 and 440cc as i thought all V2s had 380cc?

must be v2 sti mate an if you want to get over the 320bhp you will probly have to change the maf sensor for a z32 maf but make sure when u buy 1 its come with the plug as well coz you will need to change it for yours

All Pre96 WRX and STi had 380cc injectors
97/98 WRX and UK also had 380 injectors
97/98 STI and 99> Classic all have 440cc injectors.

97/98 STi with Yellow 440's are Phase 1.5 fuel rails that will fit Phase 1 rails.
Phase 2 rails injectors from 99> will also fit Phase 1 rails but need £30 adaptors from Carl Davey, Zen or Lateral.

sorry to jump in on this, but Im trying to work mine out too!

Mine is a UK 98 Classic WRX, which I understand is Phase 1.5 apparently. Im after larger injectors, but dont know if I need top or side feed, and which injector types will fit?

All help appreciated.

thanks

Grant

Side feed and more likely to need rail adaptors to convert the phase 2 injectors to fit the phase 1.5 rails
there are some large phase 1/1.5 out there on ebay but tend to be cheap and modified for extra flow. I would never recommend a cheap injector as it's critical to maintain engine life.

The only modification for extra flow I would trust would be from lateral.
They can modifiy 440's to run approx 800cc, they should be able to do the same for the 380's
