The windows - front, back and sides - are not demisting.
I do have a problem with the heater that I can only use on the 're-circulation' setting, if I use the other setting it send smoke into the cockpit, see earlier post.
Is demisting of windows a well known issue in Impreza's and is there a fix or is it due to the recirculation setting?

 

If your heater matrix is leaking like in the earlier thread, then you have water in the Cabin which will cause the never ending Misting of the windows.

Have you ever been caught in a rain storm then got in your car, only for the windows to steam up instantly? Same thing.

If your matrix is leaking this is causing the misting, then with the resirc on the heater all you are doing is recirculating Damp air and not replacing it with fresh air from outside. See if you can get some big packets of Cillica Gel to absorb the moisture.
