Default z4 ecu.

i keep reading bits and pieces here and there about people upgrading?/changing their classic ecu's for a z4 ecu. is there much difference? are they any good compared to what is already fitted? i have a 4b ecu in mine and was wondering if an ecu swap would be worth the effort .

they are a good upgrade, infact i've just sold one my self on e-bay
will never beat a mapped ecu

but a good improvment alround
i sold mine for £65 on e-bay.

but there is a limitor on the ecu as with all import ecu's.

You can change it but it was mapped for a td05 turbo not the td04 that you have in your car
