Default Drop Link Problems

Hello everyone,
Im doing a project on impreza performance and the problems involved with drop links.
Just wondering if anyone could give me a few pointers about the problems occured with the plastic rear drop links on the 1993 -2002 impreza. (Are only the back plastic?)

Idea of life time of the part and the location of the failure in the failed part. Any help would be awesome.
Cheers.

Dan

The plastic ones are horrible. I'm not sure its worth the time on FEA, just get some aftermarket uprated replacements and forget about it.
