Default MY06 sti clocks into MY05sti

Thought I'd pulled a blinder and sourced some hawkeye defi style clocks to fit into MY05 Sti!

Read the forums about fitting into wrx's etc, and relays (not really understood).

My 05 Sti is the one fitted with the DCCD therefore I assumed that the 06 Sti clocks would be a straight swap!

Two of the plugs fit (although 180 degrees the oposite way round) and work part of the display (which inc the swoop, rev, temp, mileage, beep, bat airbag)
The other plug (Left hand-side) is smaller, the same shape bit counting the pins has 2 less than the clocks!

Is this an easy resolve or should I just sell them?

just trim two of the bars off the plug so that it fits in, the 2 extra pins are not needed, also relays for reverse circuit are only needed when fitting in a pre 2005 car as the abs is wired differently. You will not need to do anything with the abs circuit. I just shaved the plug on my car with a stanley knife. Don't give up as the mod is well worthwhile.

as above, trim the bars on the edge of the plug and turn upside down aswell.....keep the plug to the right as the left side is not required as has already been said above......love my hawkeye clocks in my blob eye :¬)

Thanks alot, really appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!
I have cut two of the bars off the plug, this then allowed the plug to line up with the tab on the clocks!

Now fitted everything works even the DCCD!

Only two little problems to resolve, how do I get the clocks to not constantly beep when the ignition is on and are these clocks supposed to dim when the you put your lights

you wont have the dimming feature and its wire C9 that needs cut to stop the buzzing.

If you look on naioc web site they show a way to get the clocks to dim, and show in detail the wire to cut, I did it another way though and left my wiring and disconnected inside the clocks, so that my wiring remained standard.
