Provided the EcuTeK ECU you are getting is based on UK/European market firmware codebase (i.e. AE800/801/802) you can just plug it in and everything will be fine.
If the ECU is based on JDM firmware, you will have to reconfigure the wiring in the ECU plugs - and in doing so you will bypass the transponder based immobiliser.
Your insurer may want to know about this, although as you should still have two channels of immobilisation delivered via the Sigma alarm, your premium shouldn't be significantly affected.

Nice one. It's worth checking before money changes hands both how suitable (or otherwise) the existing map will be, and also whether the license on it has been left open - or can be utilised without further cost by your nearest TeK tuner.

Do not simply assume that yours will run safely on the new ECU, even if you change the fuel pump. An ECU custom mapped for another car is by no means guaranteed to run safely on yours, even if the hardware is otherwise identical.
If you drop it in, you need to be running a KnockLink, at least, to get some reassurance. Ideally you'd have it checked over by a competent mapper or Subaru specialist.
