hi all ive got a prob after fitting my blitz centre n box.
its a my93 wrx im running a 6k ecu,itg panel,later slanty sti intercooler and magnex 2.5" exhaust straight through.the car was boosting to 1.75barfirst dropping to .9 bar to redline.since fitting the nur spec its only boosting to .6/7bar.
it does need some plugs,coil packs are 8 months old.just cant understand it
please help

 

Hi mate id be quite concerned if you was overboosting to 1.75 bar as the 6k ecu should only produce roughly 0.9 bar if i remember correctly, id double check all boost hoses are ok not leaking etc, have you done a ecu reset since fitting the new exhaust/centre? Cheers Mark

 

hi thanks for the reply.i checked visually the hoses they look good,tried to do the ecu reset but had no joy.i followed jgm's guide and plugged in the green n black connectors but didnt get the check engine light come on.is it for all ecu's.

 

Yeah it should work

Disconnect the battery over night, that will reset the ecu

 

Does the check light come on normally when the ignitions switched on?

 

yes the check engine light works everytime you turn it on.think ill disconnect the battery for a few hours gotta worth a shot.cheers peeps
