Default will my car make 330bhp with this mods?

hi there,

im right now upgrading some parts on my car and im wondering when i will put ecutek on it how many bhp i can achieve, i hope you can bring me some ideas what i can also put on now:

parts installed or ready to be installed:

car: 2002 Impreza STI 2.0

mods:

- exedy stage 1 clutch
- ksport 356mm 8 pot brake kit
- bc racing coilover ra
***************
engine:

- gt spech unequal length header
- perrin tmic intercooler
- kakumei 3" downpipe with metall cat 150 cell i think so
- greddy se 3" catback
- denso ik22 spark plugs
- cosworth panel air filter
- walbro da-21 fuel pump 305 l/h

rest of the engine is stock

i would like to make ecutek on it and want to come near 330 bhp is that possible ?

You could probably make 350bhp on that but what MY02 car is it? UK or JDM?
Oh and god knows why you replaced the STI intercooler, its probably better than the one you put on there, not many actually beat it for performance and they are good for over 400bhp

hi,

thanks for the answer it is an EDM 02 STI .

really sti tmic better? i noticed that the car better performs with the perrin one but can be that it isnt better..

so should i go to the mapper with the sti one and the perrin and look what performs better?

woudl be an idea or?

can i fit an td05 18 g from andy forrest and map the car to 380 hp with the rest being as it is?

For 380bhp you will either need an uprated fuel pressure regulator ie SX or Fuellab with the FP raised from 3 bar to 3.5 bar or bigger 650cc injectors.

Im running 410bhp with standard sti injectors but raised Fuel pressure.

what are your other mods to be running that power.

Fuellab regulator raised pressure to 3.5 bar
APS SR 40 Turbocharger
Hyperflow TMIC
Miltek 3 inch exhaust and downpipe
OBX Equal length headers and uppipe
AVCR Boost Controller running 1.65 bar
APS Stage 2 Cold Air Kit
Ecutek remap by Andy Forest
NGK 7 plugs

Yes - easy hit 330 with those mods - possibly even 350.

I've got very similar mods to that and when i still had the VF35 and i'd finished remapping it made a solid 350 so you should definately be good for that.

thanks for the replys 350 hp would also be great

so i will go the route with the orginal vf35 , will inform about the specs i get with those mods!

350 hp is more then enough ( i think so ) ...

Not for long....you'll soon get bored with 350 and be hankering for that little bit more. It's amazing just how quick you get used to your car being quick...and then it's not quick enough!!
