hello all


im having problems with my 2006 wrx 2litre it is fitted with a sigma alarm system which operates through the subaru one button key(or should i say did!!) i left the key in the boot lid whilst loading the boot and the fob got wet so i took it apart cleaned and dryed the inside which wasnt wet and put back together it started to work again until last week now i have to lock it manually with the key and input the 4 digit code twice into the keypad to disarm the immobilisor any ideas on wot has gone wrong!!!!!!!!

Does your second fob work ok?

PS, there are no 2006 2ltr WRX's as they were all 2.5's

well ive got a 06 2litre one registered 24/03/06 by subaru uk themselves might be a rarety anyone wanna buy it lol!!!!!!!!!!!!

i only have 1 key with the car didnt know if it was a programming fault on the alarm

You should be able to buy another fob off eBay between £5.00 - £15.00 and then reprogram it to your alarm. Type in sigma on the search, always handy to have a spare as well .
