Smell of fuel in cabin after decat
Hi everyone
I've got a Hawkeye WRX and have just had a Milltek 3" full decat system installed, uprated fuel pump, filter, shocks and remap at AET. The car is so much nicer to drive now - pulls in every gear and sounds out of this world.
However, my missus has noticed a smell of fuel in the cabin. With me driving it all the time, I can't smell it at all but she said it's getting worse.
I've heard with decats you can sometimes get a leaking gasket / seal from the back pipe. Is this the source? I'm getting it up on ramps tomorrow for braided Goodridge hoses and new pads/fluid. Is there an easy way to test (i.e. would I feel the exhaust gases if I had my hand up?).
Thanks all (as always!).

The re-map will add extra fuel, the aim is to extract maximum performance, NOT green friendly eco-warrior clean exhaust emissions..... it can smell.
