Question

At present i have a dawes device, but i am not to sure about in the long term, what damage it is doing if any so as title says. Is it out there and has anyone have it fitted? Whats it like?
All I want is some extra power, ie more boost but safer, should i go for an electronic boost controler, does anyone suggest one?

Any help would be great

Paul

You won't get any more power with an electronic boost controller unless you run more boost. I would get your uppipe cat removed and enjoy it. If you are worried fit knocklink and EGT.

If you want more power then a Link ECU would be a good solution - the MY01 seems to require an ECU change to unlock the power compared with a MY00 at least according to some. http://www.autospeed.com/A_1054/page1.html

TSL reckon that they will have there MOTEC system ready in the next month or so. Supposed to be very good, very safe and very mappable even with all the CAT's in place. Not cheap though at £1800 approx.
