My steering kept going tighter and then on occasions felt judery when turning on the spot, when i investigated my aux belt was slightly loose and the hotter it got the looser it became so just fitted a new belt everythings been fine since.

Well, ya know what? This post is mine all over too! LOL
My 03 WRX has started doing the same, even though it was on the minimum i topped up the fluid and of course it aint no better. Mine seems to be ok if i start the car then sit for a few seconds before pulling off. Anyway, i think a new belt is in order. lol

I'll check the belt first to see if theirs any noticeable issue, it's strange as some times it's kind of fine and others it's very dangerous it can catch you out.
