since replacing the battery the light stays red solid before it was flashing with beeping are there different settings

dont quote me on this but i think the rev light is a solid signal and the beep is 2 or 3 blips. you can turn off the beeps though and just have the light which is what i think has happened to you on a default setting on the battery disconnection. if you refer to your manual it does explain how to activate the beeps as well but be warned i tried this myself a month or so ago with the same scenario and it took a few trys before it decided to work. persevere though, it wont be broken.

well iv had aplay and iv got the word on come up on the screen but no 3 beeps to say it was set as it says in the manual just have to take the car out for a blast to check that its working

yeah i kind of had the same problem re-setting mine, as i said though it will work, its just a bit of a headache to set up as easily as it makes out in the manual.
