im presuming this is what the black canister is on the o/s side of my engine inbetween the radiator and intercooler water bottle

can i just remove this?

and do what with the existing pipe work?

Carbon canister part of the emissions system and yes you can remove it,not sure about pipeworkthough think you can let it ven to atmosphere but not sure.

 

yea, took mine off and let it vent to atmosphere wen fitting a new age power steering pump, the pipe work runs under the inlet and up to the n/s strut top next to the fuel pipes, bin it! i used an in line fuel filter in the end of the pipe, had no probs! cheers!
