My son wants me to tow a rover 200 for him on a fixed tow is it ok to go on the motorway ?

Do you mean like a straight bar/front wheel type fixture?
Definately know its not legal if you use a tow rope.

Just a soild bar that goes on the towing eyes that
you buy at machinemart !

Yes it is legal to use a towing bar but only if you have the relivent license, B+E, max speed on motorway 60mph and you can only use lanes 1 and 2 (inside and middle)
