check engine light????
Hi everyone i have had my subaru for a while done loads to it so far but recently the check engine light comes on and goes off now and again,
when its on the car revs but just dont pull really. it just judders like you can feel it trying to go but something is stopping it, at first i thought crank shaft sensor but now i am thinking air flow metre if it helps i have just put a front mount intercooler on it but it started doing it before that, my car is an import 95 wrx if someone could shed some light on it for me i would be most grateful. Cheers scott.

Welcome. While I don't want to start off with a point of criticism, it isn't particularly clever to modify the car when you already know that something isn't quite right, so fitting that FMIC wasn't on the face of it the best move to make at the time you made it.
If you have a classic and the CEL is coming on, the first thing to do is check what is causing it - so search the forum or Scoobypedia for "black plugs" and take it from there. Once you know the cause of the error(s), you're well on the way to identifying the cause of the problem.
