Call 'em what you will, the ones for use on an Impreza with an FMIC ...........do they come with/need mesh?

And don't they just allow car-wash water, rain, etc to penetrate straight onto the engine/turbo/ignition leads?

Anyone using one advise, please?

The bonnet vents I've seen on scoobies have all been fake. There's a wire mesh with black plastic underneath with strategically drilled holes for draining water away from anything important.

No-one seen/using a real one then, in place of the scoop, for an FMIC fitted car?

 

Have a look at RCMS site at the construction of the "Gobstopper"......they have one there

I've also seen andy f's car with a bonnet scoop reversed LOL
