Im looking to upgrade the turbo and intercooler on my MY00 uk turbo sometime soon and was wondering if its worth upgrading the header and up pipe? Car currently has S/S exhaust, walbro & remap, and was looking at fitting a VF34/5 and a new age STI top mount. So, is it worth it for this spec? And which ones should I look at?

 

i wouldnt bother with tubular ones at that level of tune.you would be better off with some standered ported ones.

I fitted ScoobyClinucs SS headers after the initial TBE & Fuel pump.
The 30lb ft gain in torque was worth it. Response and spool was also better than standard.

Then theres the howl that you get when over 5k!!!
