New brake pads!!!
Hi there, the time has come for the first bit of maintainance on My 05 sti which i bought in february. it is time for brake pads. I rang up the subaru dealer where i bought it from and got a quote from them which came to £52 for the fitting and the choice of non genuine pads for £60 and genuine parts for £190 + Vat When i asked what the difference was the guy couldnt tell me (does anyone know just out of interest?) i have been looking about for some pads online as i thought i would be able to get some better performance pads for a better price. can anyone recomend some good ones?
i did find some brembo ones and seems as though the calipers are brembo wondered if these were good Scoobyparts Ltd BREMBO HIGH PERFORMANCE BRAKE PADS
because it is my brakes i dont mind splashing the cash if i need to, but i didnt want to have my pants pulled down by the subaru dealers.
help would be appreciated
cheers

Im quite suprised the dealer gave you an option> there are better pads out there better than the o/e ones and certainly at a better price. The £60 ones though are probably not that good and just a standard after market pad
Id recommend mintex 1144's or the performance friction stuff Just dont buy ebc stuff as its rubbish in my opinion
