Default Which y pipe for topmount conversion?

I've fitted a newage sti topmount to my sti v3 with a vf35. The slightly stepped 90 bend going from the turbo to the intercooler is about 30mm too short as the back of the intercooler's colser to the bulkhead now. Has anyone started doing longer ones of these yet? The other options are to join 2 pipes slightly restricting the flow, or to get a silicone y to just about reach. Another option, I suppose would be to just get a longer 90 bend without the slight step, but I think this'll kink.

Any advice would be appreciated, cheers, Nathan

I've been looking around, snd it looks like some of the cheaper silicone y pieces on ebay have quite a bit of distance between the 90 bend and the split of the y compared with the more expensive makes. I'm thinking I could cut one of these down and fit it to my aluminuim y piece, making up the extra inch or so required. Does anyone know whether these cheap silicone y's have the required kink at the bend? Otherwise I mak as well just buy a normal 90 silicone bend... Are there any other solutions? Cheers
