Wot are the symptons of oil on MAF?
Getting a bit paranoid reading some of the posts.
I have a K&N CAIK and cleaned and oiled the filter about 6 months ago.
I am aware MAF's don't like oil so I was careful.
But just say I was a bit enthusiastic with me oil - what does the car do if the MAF is not happy or gets oil on it?
Sometimes he idles very slightly lumpy when cold but not when hot.
I noticed my fuel consumption seems a bit higher - from 25 av down to 22 and I am not overly heavy-footed.
Am I just imagining spooks?
