Default hawkeye sti won't go over 2500rpm

hi everyone, i have just fitted an engine from a hawkeye sti ppp. in to my bugeye end swapped the complete wiring loom of the car along with the ecu, pedals and the steering column (for the immobilazer.) everything is connected except the speedo sensor cable, and the dccd plug and everything is from the same car except the gearbox (hawkeye wrx) and the remote lock control unit, which needs to be synchronized with the car if i can get it to a dealer. the engine starts and runs perfect. you just can't blip the throttle from idle it will gradually reach 2500-3000 rpm and stay there. can anyone help? we put a fault finding computer thing and it gave us error on throttle positioning sensor and crank positioning sensor. i saw this engine on the donor car and it revved fine.
thanx in advance

your car is in limp mode, reason for this is because the speedo cable and dccd are not connected the ecu does not know what speed the car is moving at. it is a subaru safety feature, at them revs in top gear you will be travelling at roughly 75-85mph. the only solution is to get the speedo and dccd connected and cummunicating properly and all should be well.

The 2006 throttle and crank sensors (and knock sensor) all share a common ground.
