hi guys can anybody tell me what turbo units the bug eye use.

if possible i would like to know for the uk wrx and sti & the import wrx and sti.

and how do they compare to the classic impreza's

UK WRX and JDM WRX both use the TD04 turbo, the UK STI's use the VF35, the JDM STI's (RA/Spec C 01/02) use the VF34, the standard JDM STI 01/02 use the VF30, the S202 uses the VF34, then from 2003 the JDM STI uses the twin scroll VF37 and the Spec C uses the VF36, then if you add the S203 in there, that uses the twin scroll VF42 (all JDM STI's from 2003/blob's, are twin scroll engines).
If you also add the S204 and the Spec C type RA's, they both use the VF42 twin scroll turbo too.

does the classic uk impreza use the tdo4 or tdo5 and also i suppose that the import classic wrx is quicker that the uk bugeye wrx.

Classic UK cars from 94-96 used the TD05 turbo, then from 97 to 00 they used the td04 turbo.
As for classic WRX's (all imports, power starting from 220ps for the wagons and eventually getting up to 280ps (saloons only) for the later cars but with 240/260ps for the saloons from 92-94/95-96 have more out of the factory power than the UK cars due to less restrictions on emissions etc.
UK WRX's (available from 2001 onwards) had 215bhp (218ps) which was then upped to 223bhp (225ps) from 2003.
