Probably a stupid question. I've go to get my back bumper re-sprayed and was thinking, is it possible to paint the black sills. If so, are the prone to chipping.

Mine is painted and it sticks pretty good, although i've seen some chipping.. It's not bothering me though..

GT, had mine done over two years and 30,000 miles ago. Still perfect. A friend at a local body shop did it for £120 cash. Dropped car off in the morning, picked it up in the afternoon

Had my DBM done last month - no probs, removed the parts myself, got a paintshop to spray the bits-up, done in 24 hrs & looks great!

No probs doin the sills, I had mine done 2 years ago and no chips on them yet
