Will V2 sti heads on a V6 block?
Sorry, maybe a silly question, but what bottom ends will V2 sti heads fit?
Dont wana be changing looms, so wana keep the same sorta age heads for the coil packs.

It can be done but you will need the correct thickness head gasket. V2 sti pistons have relief cuts for the head valves plus they sit slightly proud of the deck.
The phase 2 pistons sit under the deck.
I was told to use thin gasket as per v6 models then another specialist told me to use thick gasket. It all to so with the comp ratio. You will not get it exact but that choice is yours.
I went for the thicker gasket as I wanted to ensure the inlet manifold would bolt up, plus you need to consider the timing belt and the alignment.
I went with the thicker gaskets and had no problems.
