Have done this to my v2 sti - looks much better now - I would suggest getting the crystal lights and the later model grill that jutts over the bumper to get the best look.
You will need the newer vents, scoop and udertray (if your gonna use one).
I kept the original bumper as I like the lines but added a JDL deep splitter too - nice n aggressive!
I also used the angel eye all in one lamps but alot of peeps think theyre a bit chavvy - each to their own.
Oh - also you will need to move the bonnet catch position - that takes a bit of trial and error.

Dont seem to be able to insert a piccy?????
For crystal lights check on ebay, you could try awesome imports on there they were v helpfull and can supply a complete kit. theyre based in Bristol but plenty of other places sell the bits.
lights and repeaters for around 100ish.
bonnets vary but a new pattern on around the 200mark
grill about 100.
scoop etc varies but i think I paid around 40.

there is a link on here somewhere of a guy who did a red classic - looks good and I think he used the crystals. they come in chrome or black!
If I work out how to get a piccy on I'll send you it!
Hope that helps.

It will indeed but I dont seem to have had any probs so far.... The other tuners Ive spoken to have said that many peeps leave it off alltogether but I made up new holes for the rubber cowl and most of the air goes where it should.
Im waiting to finish prepin a cooler oof a V reg (sits straight) so when finshed will all line up and hopefully slightly better charge temps!

thanks mate

im just sourcing a front mount anyways so scoop placing is just cosmetic rather than functional

if you can email pics to jgilmour@talktalk.net that would be appreciated mate

thanks

Hello Jef,
If your not using the scoop for the intercooler than why don't you try a reverse scoop for a truly different look & it should help the hot air escape better from the engine bay when driving Just a thought
