Simtek ecu help (manual)?
I looking for some help with my Simtek .
I am in the US,so there are no tuners here using this(that I know of).
I was wondering if there is a operators manual for it?
How do I switch maps?
What wires from the MAF sensor do I use for the IAT sensor(wiring in after the intercooler)?
Thanks all for any help you can give. John.

Option two is via a switch, but you will need to let me have the model year to know which pin to wire it to, and configure the software to use the switch when fitted.

Go onto NASIOC and do a search for simtek. There is US tuners as I have seen it on there.
Also try Simteks webbie and look through the dealers list.
I have a Simtek and my car is currently in a container on its way to Oz. There are no Oz Simtek dealers but I have the software, lead & dongle so I can get it mapped out there.

pressure exchange solenoid
I have another question about the Simtek.
This is for a 95 wrx.
Does the base map on the Simtek (using gm map, bcs)need to use the stock subaru pressure exchange solenoid?
Thanks,John.

GM 3 bar MAP Multiplier and constant values
Thanks JGM.
This thread is turning into a manual.
Would anyone know the Multiplier and Constant values for the GM 3 Bar MAP sensor?
Thanks everyone.

IAT sensor
Thanks Steve.
More info to the manual.
the IATsensor that replaces the MAF is intended to be placed post intercooler.

+1 for this thread.
I've only done very basic meddling with my Simtek so far due to time constraints and the fact my decent laptop is being repaired, but the support from numerous people in the know both on here and elsewhere is great, and very much appreciated.
It's a shame there isn't a manual for the software though still. I can understand it takes a lot of resource to write something like that but it would be a big help. Speaking for myself as a novice, I understand the principles with mapping and some areas of setup etc but without being very familiar with the software and its options it's slightly daunting.
It's an adventure though!
So far I'm certainly pleased that I swapped from PFC to simtek even though my car's not driveable just at the minute.
One question that I've got about map sensors/simteks if someone can help is that I have kept the boost control kit from my PFC as the solenoid and 3bar map sensor would have cost me to replace.
Now the apexi (Denso maybe?) map sensor was previously plugged directly into the PFC with its own harness. I've removed the plug from that and have wired it in place of the OEM sensor, but I want to check that the wiring is correct.
Both the original & Apexi sensors have 3 wires, one red, one green, and either a brown or a white wire. Do the wires on the apexi one match the car's harness as far as the red & green wires go?
