hi people which exhaust is the loudest for a wrx turbo
i have the option of 3 first being afterburner vortex
second hayward and scott and third is blitz nur spec r
im looking for best scooby burble and loudest once i put my foot down kind regards people

 

rcm team ice is probably the loudest. Never heard one but theres no silencer at all

I had a blitz nur spec r on my type r, and with a de-cat 3'' downpipe it was mental.

 

ive got a afterburner.....by george sounds the **** when ya flat out and pops like a mother.

 

blitz nur spec. it comes with a bung if you want a bit quieter

 

team ice horrendously loud and even louder when giving it some i p/xd it has it was far too loud but getting it back has miss it like hell

 

I've got a Hayward & Scott which is loud but dosn't quite have that lovely rasp you get from a Nur spec R.

 

The Nur Spec is the loudest, but the hayward and scott sounds good. It is quite subtle for normal driving, but screams when you boot it. Still quite loud but probably more useable day to day

That's not an exhaust, its a piece of stainless steel drain pipe

Exhausts have silencing

 

 

I'm sure the Team Ice would achieve the greatest dB level. But from the clips I've heard on YouTube, then the Nur Spec R sounds lovely and cultured (has a 'warmth' to it lol)... ASWELL as being loud! Win/win I'd say.

112db on mine at 3000rpm thats with full openmouth downpipe 3inch decat centre section and a scoobysport backbox sounds the mutts and pops and bangs on overrun like a goodun then sounds like a jet fighter on full song

 

cheers i been on the site it does say that you will need the rcm 3" down pipe and centre section to make it fit however mine already has the 3 inch down pipe fitted and the exhaust on it is already a 3" through so would i be able to just bolt it on to my centre section already on my car instead of buying the full system.

 

so long as the backbox flange is the same cant see a problem
