uk classic front bumper (number plate)

I can't help with the technical side, but will put forward a quick warning.
As I'm sure you're aware the stickers are not 'legal' numberplates as there are none available with the correct E mark for their reflective background/typefont.

Could go this way and put it on the splitter plate is 70% of regulation and no bother from the plod as yet?
The bit the plate is bolted to as standard is moulded as part of the bumper. I just cut it off

the bracket which the plate is screwed to is held on by 2 torx type screws but with a pin in the center.I didnt have the correct type of torx bit to remove so drilled it out and came off with no marks or damage. i use a stick-on plate on my front splitter with no problem from the police as yet but it is not MOT legal. i use a real plate with double sided tape to get it through the mot and then it goes in the boot.
