59 plate WRX-S prodrive question
Just wanted to know is there anything Prodrive can add to my car to boost it to 300 upwards. Ive looked on the web but dont see anything for the new scoobys. Im presuming the 330s obviously hass diff gearbox and seats but i also presume the engine is the same but with a bigger turbo and map ?? anybody know if it can be replicated, and not cost 10k
prodrive offer a 1600 kit but i think thats what the S has anyways, is there anything else they have ?
Also if Prodrive do it does this keep my warrenty active. or does it go soon as we touch it any further.
Also noob question but what Model is the new scooby i see ver 6 7 etc what mine a version 9 ?

The 2.5 litre engine in the WRX-S can be remapped to 266 bhp and 312 lbs ft of torque. Prodrive have done a 'safe' factory upgrade (251/ 288) on the WRXS so as not to make it equal to the STi in terms of performance. If your ultimate aim is 300bhp plus then I don't think that that a brand new WRXS is the ideal starting point, especially when there are STi ex- demonstrators available at around £22k.

Agreed, it was more of a CAN I question.
Or what is needed to achieve it.
forget the brakes etc it was just the engine and how the WRX-S Differed from the STI and 330s in terms of mods or just a more explosive map.
I probably wouldnt do it till later in life but knowing was a start
