Default Throttle type question

Hi All,

I recently bought a Spec C manifold with everything on it for a straight swap.

Almost 7 days later the a**ses have just sent me an email saying that the only one they have left has the electronic throttle on it and not the wired one I actually bought.

Now I'm assuming that this is no good at all as the wiring loom etc are all different. Is this correct?

Andy

I've just asked for a refund,

Everything together was £660! I'm not paying that to still have to swap my loom and throttle body over, might aswell just buy the Spec C manifold on its own for cheaper.

Thought Spec Cs were solely 2 litre cars which only use the cable throttle?

Also, not all Spec C manifolds are one piece items.

I don't know mate,

There is a bit of a language barrier between me and the seller so I thought it would be best to ask for a refund.

The manifold in the picture certainly had a cable throttle, but in the email he stated that it didn't have it and asked if i would accept one with an electronic throttle.
