Default How long is the guarantee....

On a new age oem battery?

I'm guessing it's 1 year but hoping it's 3!!

Let's hope so - think mines on it's way out. The bleeding thing struggles even to turn over at the moment if left for a day or so.

Cheers for the reply - gonna give my dealer a bell tomorrow and find out for sure, will give an update so people know for sure.

I had the battery replaced under warranty on my MY03 when it was just over 2 years old

Looks like it may well be dying at the right time then - 3 weeks until my 3rd service.

Is it normal for batteries to play up so soon - never in my life of owning cars has a battery died so young!

I'd left it for a week, came back and it struggled like hell.Have left it for longer before without any problems. It's just proving it to Subaru as after i've driven it to them (around 20 miles) all will be fine and it'll start ok for maybe a day or 2!

For the record Subaru have confirmerd it's a 3 yr guarantee - cheers people

Let's just hope the garage agrees it's buggered!
