Default front knock

hi all i have 02 sti running 330 bhp, when taking foot off gas or when i put gas on i get a slight knock or clunk at front, i have got these mods which i had fitted at powerstation less than 1k miles ago, bc coilovers, rear anti roll bar and droplinks (whiteline)anti lift kit,(whiteline)rollcentre kit again whiteline, also had fast road settings when fitted with the geometry they put on,any one got any ideas on what it could be ? its mainly at slow speeds or when in traffic doing speed limit, any thoughts please thanks.

will speak to david at api in the week as hear he knows his stuff, not that impressed with geom settings and there was a bolt in one of coilovers left loose (tight now )so maybe all needs a check over.could it be front droplink or anti roll bar bush or engine mount on its way ?

I have the same problem on my 03 STi, got an advisory on the MOT that is was the front droplinks. I'm thinking of doing them tomorrow will post you and let you know if it sorts the problem out, if i get round to doing them, got the bits so theres no excuse!

Albeit on my classic, I had a knock at low speeds for ages. Changed top mounts, ARB bushes, front shocks and ball joints... turned out to be the droplinks

Loose driveshaft nut? Easy to check visually by popping out wheel centre cap, ensure staking is in shaft groove. I had my NSF one come slightly loose (03STi) drove me mad and took a year to find. Given your description I'd put money on this being the cause.

i honestly thought it maybe this mate or somthing to do with driveshaft as its when on and off the gas and i can sort of make it do it going on and off the pedal,i will take off wheel and check as i have wr1 alloys and its a bugger to take centre cap out,if it is that then thats 2 loose bolts on that side wont be too happy.

Did my droplinks today and it solved the problem, no more annoying knocking at low speeds, and very easy to do!
