opinions on resale
hey guys,
just wanted some opinions. I own a 97 sti type r. Before me it had only had one owner since new in Japan, I have all manuals and log book with servicing stamps on time.
I also have the auction sheets and it was a grade A. the car has 100,000km's on the clock and is absolutely immaculate.
I would be lucky to do more than 5-7000 miles a year. I will own the car for another 2 years and I would love to spend about £4000 getting some mods done to it.
But I wanted to check, will the car lose a lot of value if I get it modded or will the value still be around the same? And do you think it will be a lot harder to sell once the mods have been done?
I'd love to mod the car but I dont want it to lose a lot of value.
Thanks in advance.

More likely it will be harder to sell, and the price won't ever cover the cost involved in the mods. As suggested return to standard and sell the bits, then the car.
