Default FMIC

Quick question...
I've a "99 Type R. I've kept with the standard airbox & green panel set up rather than induction kit due to the notoriously fragile MAF sensor on this model.
Question is, is it possible to run a fmic without having to convert to a an induction kit?

Cheers
Ryan

I don't think so, since the FMIC pipework runs through where the airbox now is
