Hi, i've just changed both headgaskets on my wrx, put everything back together and the bugger won't start. Turns over but will not fire, changed the fuel pump which now primes on ignition, got a spark at all the coilpacks, all the timing marks are correct(i think! n/s cams lifted, o/s not lifted.)

Any help would be appreciated.

Take a look at your Crank sensor, just under the front of your alternator. Might be loose.

finally got it running, removed the water sensor under the intake , then put it back on, it tried to fire when i patrially opened the throttle and lifted of so i kept repeating it and it suddenly fired up.....thank god!

Now got some smoke around the turbo, don't know if its oil or water at the mo, had some oil smoke come out of the exhaust too but hope its down to taking the heads off and it not being run for 3 weeks. will have to look at it tomorrow.

Anyone got a td04 turbo for sale if its buggered? Will a td05 go on without some sort of remap or chip?
