Hi just need you all to shead light on my lambda sensor reading... it sits at 0.3 milli volts & does not budge & my mates 94 wrx is the same! he says normal cars readings fluctuate between 0.3 to 0.8 volts is this right? & is the reading on my car just cos its jap spec?

 

Sounds like yours has packed up as the voltage should be changing like your mate said,
Does in change on full throttle?

 

Its a new sensor just been fitted not sure about changing on full throttle will find out, what does it mean if not?

 

just spoke to mate & once new one was fitted it only went up to 0.4 volts once when reved

 

As said above, the reading should flick from 0.1 to 0.8 continually when on tickover or off boost (open loop) and should read 0.8 upwards on boost (closed loop).

Which lambda have you fitted?? I used the cheapo universals off ebay, they lasted about half an hour, literally

 

fitted a good bosch one not a cheapo off flea bay & just reads 0.3 does not flick, what would cause this?
